Accessibility Statement
How accessible yourcommunications.net is, the problems we know about, and how to tell us about a problem.
This statement applies to the Your Communications website at yourcommunications.net. The website is run by Telqaris Limited, trading as Your Communications.
We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, you should be able to:
- skip straight to the main content using the “Skip to content” link
- choose a dark or light theme
- use our forms, because every form field has a label
- use our contact form without JavaScript
- hear a description of every meaningful image read out by a screen reader
We also try to keep the text on this website as simple as possible to understand.
How accessible this website is
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet tested the whole website by hand, so we cannot say yet that it fully meets this standard.
We know, or think, that some parts of this website may not be fully accessible:
- some text may not have enough colour contrast against its background. This includes the breadcrumb links at the top of pages, the “For business” tab when it is not selected, some small labels in the main banner on our home page, and the white cross on a red circle in the picture of our phone app
- we have not yet fully checked that you can use every part of the website with a keyboard alone, or that the keyboard focus is always easy to see. This includes moving through the steps of our availability checker
What to do if you can’t access parts of this website
If you need information from this website in a different format, please contact us. You can ask for our terms, your contract summary and your bills in large print, Braille or audio, free of charge.

Technical information about this website’s accessibility
Compliance status
We have not yet confirmed that this website meets WCAG version 2.2 level AA. The possible problems we know about are listed below.
Content that may not be accessible
- Colour contrast: some text may not meet the minimum contrast ratio (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.3, Contrast (Minimum)). Automated tools gave different results, so we are checking this by hand.
- Keyboard use and focus: not yet fully checked by hand (WCAG 2.2 success criteria 2.1.1 Keyboard, 2.4.3 Focus Order, 2.4.7 Focus Visible and 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured (Minimum)).
This statement covers the public pages of yourcommunications.net. We have not yet tested the customer portal, or documents such as PDF bills.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
We are checking colour contrast in both the dark and light themes, and testing the website using only a keyboard. We will fix the problems we find and update this statement when we do.
How we tested this website
On 20 October 2026 we tested a sample of pages ourselves using automated tools (Lighthouse, and pa11y with the axe and HTML_CodeSniffer test engines). The pages included the home page, Full Fibre, Digital Phone, Business, Check availability, Contact, Service status and the customer sign-in page. Automated tools can only find some accessibility problems, so we will also test by hand.
